Hoover Windtunnel T Series Pet Bagged Upright Vacuum Review

Ready to use a product that finally helps you clean up the pet hair laying around your house? Maybe you’re tired of sending your kids to school with pet hair all over them. Whatever the case may be, investing in a pet-specific vacuum will allow you to do so. For the attractive price, in comparison with its competitors on the market, this Hoover Windtunnel T Series is a fantastic option for those pet parents in need.

Features

One of the first advantages for those who have pets is the P.A.W.S “pet approved” windtunnel system. This system uses a type of technology that removes any type of dirt that’s embedded into the ground while minimizing the scatter and “blowback” of all of the dirt on the carpet.

Furthermore, there are HPEA media bag filters included, which utilize activated carbon to ensure that most dust – 99.9% of dust, as well as allergens and pollens, are reduced immensely. Anything down to the size of 0.3 microns can be picked up, and the carbon ensures the absorption of these allergens.

On this device, there is also a one-touch bag door release that you can have quick and efficient access to the bag. In doing so, you don’t have to worry about getting any dirt or allergens all over you as you wrestle with the bag to release the dirt and filth.

There’s a 30-foot cord, as well, which allows you to go from room to room without unplugging from the wall. We’ve all been there – we’re trying to reach that dirty spot near the bedroom doors, but the cord won’t pull that far, and you end up having to go back and plug it back in or try to find an outlet near you.

Beyond this, there’s a clean-drop system with the bags, and you’ll be able to use that one-touch access to drop the bag in the trash. If you don’t want to have any sort of contact with the bag, or have immense allergies, this will be a great feature for you. There’s also an on and off brush roll that comes with and is activated through an easy push button for transitioning to hardwood floors from carpets. There’s nothing better than versatility and convenience wrapped all into one.

Those who like to tinker with vacuums will like this model, especially if you want to “fix it” at any time. Be wary, though, as it may void the warranty. The belt change system and brush roll areas are easily accessible for those tinkerers who know what they’re doing.

First Impression of the Product

The Hoover T-series windtunnel has helped immensely in removing some of the excess hair that lies around our house. Some of the cutest puppy breeds are some that shed the most, like the Corgi, and ours sheds a LOT! We love our little man, and the clean-drop bag system has allowed me to vacuum and then dispose of quite easily.

After using other pet vacuums in the past, I can assume that the windtunnel technology has something to do with why this works better than other products I’ve had in the past. There isn’t any excess dirt coming out from the unit anywhere, I don’t have to worry about “blowback.”

Furthermore, I was able to transition from my kitchen and dining room area to my carpeted living room area with ease. I didn’t have to worry about inefficiency because of hardwood versus plush, and that’s something I surprisingly had issues with before for other vacuums.

For the price, I was willing to try it, as there are a ton of other products that are twice the price if not three times the price. Even though it’s excellent for pet-related issues, it also features great suction for general vacuuming purposes. It’s pretty standard in physical design, and has a detachable hose and cleaner system so that you may vacuum up your furniture with ease.

Thankfully, I didn’t have to haul any large vacuum on top of my furniture to be able to clean it – that’s a huge advantage for me, especially because I do most of the cleaning myself. I also like the 30-foot cord and don’t have to worry about the vacuum becoming unplugged so easily. We don’t have a huge house, but it’s something I’ve had an annoyance within the past. I also loved the five position carpet height adjustment, for those that want to go on and off the carpet with ease, and efficiently.

Even if you’re little on-edge about buying, there is a 2-year limited warranty included, for specific instances in which you may need to return. While it’s not a full warranty, it does count for something – especially being one of the more inexpensive pet vacuum models on the market.

The Final Verdict

Overall, the price point is excellent, and what’s offered is even better. This unit can remove pet hair and “yuck” from your furniture and floors with ease. Whether you have hardwoods or carpets, this is a great unit with convenient tools to aid in the fight against pet hair, allergens, and dander. We recommend this for those that want something simplistic, and not too crazy in price.
